This year, Miles joined Teh-han, CEO of Fonterra Greater China, at the opening ceremony of Fonterra’s CIIE booth.
“As a dairy nutrition leader, Fonterra is committed to introducing high-quality dairy products to China and growing together with the local market for a ‘Shared Future”, Miles shared in his opening speech.
This year’s theme, cheese for nutrition, highlights the advanced nutritional solutions and locally-driven innovations that Fonterra has been creating for the China market.
With China’s growing demand for health and wellness products, Fonterra has increased our focus on innovations for health nutrition, aiming to help people live a longer, healthier, and more fulfilled life.
Today’s Chinese consumers seek for more nutritious solutions that protect and enhance their personal health,” said Teh-han. “Fonterra is proactively capturing this latest trend and developing new applications with a particular focus on cheese nutrition. With this, we can better contribute to improving people’s health and wellbeing, building a Healthy China”.
Using our extensive dairy expertise, we have introduced over 30 new applications tailored to the local customers and will continue to create exciting products to cater to changing tastes of consumers in China and the unique ‘China Speed’.
There is a strong alignment between Fonterra’s sustainability priorities and China’s target of emission reduction.
At CIIE 2023, we celebrated the launch of “Protect Purity with Anchor” Sustainability Campaign. Working together with the China Environmental Protection Foundation and Ant Forest, we want to promote a low-carbon mindset and behaviours among customers and consumers through this campaign.
